Is it true when you start nesting you are closer to labor?

I have heard that you start nesting when you are really close to delivering. But I have also heard its common in the last month or so not nessecarly when you are close to delivering.


The last week I have been overly obsessing about cleaning everything but I am only 33 weeks so I am a little nervous that means I might deliver early. What do you think?Is it true when you start nesting you are closer to labor?
I don't think it means you will deliever early. no worries! I started wanting to clean around that time also...my son was born at 40 weeks and 3 days....Is it true when you start nesting you are closer to labor?
The urge to nest hit me a couple weeks before I delivered. Luckily I cleaned the whole house then. I ended up going past 40 weeks, and at the end the house could have been coated in mud and I would have been too tired to care. Congrats on your baby. :)

I've been nesting for a few weeks now and have have had nothing yet, and i'm almost 36 weeks. I think it's some thing that some people have in common and therefore believe it happens to every one but it doesn't. Don't be too nervous until you start feeling contractions I think. There's still 7 weeks for you to go, hang in there and good luck!!
