Is it true that guys care about justice while girls just want everybody to be safe and feel good?

I've heard that psychologists say that men care more about meting out punishment and upholding fairness, while women just want everyone to be safe/healthy.Is it true that guys care about justice while girls just want everybody to be safe and feel good?
Define justice. Can you have justice if most people are not safe and healthy? Do you need to meet out punishments or remediate problems in order to bring about fairness.


I think everyone is concerned with justic and fairness. I think we all wish for everyone to be safe and healthy. The way we go about it may be different by gender, by ethnicity, by religion. I think we all want the same things regardless of how we go about achieving it.Is it true that guys care about justice while girls just want everybody to be safe and feel good?
no way! I'm a woman, a therapist, and i care a whole lot more about justice than safety/health. Don't believe stereotypes - not even from a psychologist's mouth. All research studies must be reviewed by peers, but even then, that book Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, is now being challenged by the neuropsychiatric community since brain scans show men may not be that different from women.

You need to find more trustworthy sources, because whoever told you this, is pretty much clueless. Remember, there are female lawyers and judges in this world. Their entire profession is based on fairness, so there you go.











That's a grossly misleading generalization. I don't think that any modern-thinking psychologist would ever say something like that.
