Is it true in Central America there are howler monkeys who love to pick coconuts and throw them at people?

I heard these monkeys are way up in a tall tree and they see tourists walk by and they will pick a coconut and deliberately drop them on people's heads. And a 3 pound hard coconut lobbed from a 30 or 40 foot tree can smash your skull and kill you! I also heard that the local people think it's funny when this happens. Is it true in Central America there are howler monkeys who love to pick coconuts and throw them at people?
I am Brazilian and I was never in Am茅rica Central, therefore I cannot tell you if it is true. but in the Iraq journalists they throw shoe in the people. Is it true in Central America there are howler monkeys who love to pick coconuts and throw them at people?
well i live in colombia, which in not in central but south america, and i've never seen this or heard about this happening. this probably wouldn't happen because there aren't monkeys everywhere you go, just in zoos and jungles. also, coconuts grow on palm trees, and i don't think that monkeys usually climb them.
Not true in costa rica
I really don't think so, may be in the deep jungle but not in cities
