Is it true that you can use oilve oil to clean your furniture?

Won't it leave everything smelly and slippery?

How would i go about using olive oil on my furniture?

(right now i have an olive oil/vegetable oil blend in my pantry will that work?)

ThanksIs it true that you can use oilve oil to clean your furniture?
If it is wood furniture, yes. 1/2 cup of olive oil and add 2 tablespoons of real lemon juice, mix well. Tap a clean corner of a clean cloth into the mixture and wipe, use a clean area each time you tap into the olive oil. Store in air tight container in the frig. Allow to come to room temp before using. (You should only have to use this about once a month. Lemon cleans, olive oil restores luster and shine.)Is it true that you can use oilve oil to clean your furniture?
I have never heard that.

I agree with you - seems like any kind of vegetable oil would leave a sticky film on stuff that would eventually get rancid.

I'd stay with furniture cleaning oil and wax.
Why not use cleaning products developed for furniture?

Good luck!
I wouldn't do that. I'm afraid you would have a film on your furniture that you would not be able to get off. And yes, it will be smelly and gunky! Try cleaning with Murphys(diluted) or Pledge multi surface. Both can be purchased at your grocer.
i use bees wax in a jar it nourishes wood and it will not make the furniture slippery and smelly
