Is it true that flaxseed becomes toxic after being heated above a certain temp?

My mom read that if flax is heated above a certain temperature that it loses it's nutrients and even becomes toxic. Is that true?Is it true that flaxseed becomes toxic after being heated above a certain temp?
I don't suppose that there is any truth to that. Overheating only causes the loss of essential nutrients such as Omega 3 EFAs and lignans. Although milled flax seed does get rancid fast following the grind and thus, to keep it fresh, it should be refrigerated as soon as possible. Is it true that flaxseed becomes toxic after being heated above a certain temp?
idk, i've only even heard if the word ';flaxseed'; when i was playing sims 2 and was cooking .
