Many years ago there used to be some sort of dying battery pill on the market but I think it has long went the way of the ghost.
Modern Calcium Hybrid battery plates probably do not respond well to whatever it was.
No, no pills of any sort will bring a battery back to life.... that myth is as bad as disconnecting your battery to turn off the check engine light.... lies and rumors.....

NO, most car batteries today are sealed, and if not don't put any thing in there, buy a new battery.
The reason that batteries ';die'; or lose their ability to hold a charge is because of sulfation. There is not a ';pill'; that can effectively desulfate a battery. Some of these ';pills'; that have been on the market in the past may have removed sulfate build-up from the battery plates, but what happens to it?? It falls to the bottom of the battery! At the bottom of the battery it could potentially short one or more of the cells, rendering the battery completely useless. Even if it does not short any of the cells, the material that belongs on the plates, and in the acid, has been reduced. The best method I have heard of for bringing a weak battery back to a useful state, is a battery desulfator. Try doing an Internet search on ';battery desulfator'; there is a wealth of information out there about how batteries work, and how their life may be extended!

Years ago you put 1 Bayer aspirin in each cell it would foam and break loosen buildup on the plates if one was shorted out. This was just a temporary fix mostly by used car lots.
if you find a pill to fix batteries then let me know, and find me a pill to fix blown rings in a 240sx. it would be nice. :)
